Just announced at a Nintendo eShop event, WayForward’s Mighty Switch Force is out on December 22 in Europe [and the US and Australia]! In an odd reversal of release order from previous WayForward games, the Mega Man X-esque puzzle-platformer isn’t due to hit the North American eShop until Q1 2012. Destructoid has a great preview of the game, plus a sample track (entitled “Yummy”) from the game’s soundtrack, composed by Jake “virt” Kaufman and releasing for free alongside the game. UPDATE 3 (17/12): WayForward has tweeted that the Dec 22nd date applies to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, AND North America, and that the game will sell for $5.99/€6!
