2DS View #35: We’re Back Already?
Wow, that month went fast. Hope you all had a great Christmas and/or New Year!
I’ll be completely honest: I did not expect this feature to run into 2012. Right up until that last post, I figured news would dry up after Christmas and I’d need to make some drastic changes to keep 2DS View going. Then they announced Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition.
2DS View #33: 2012 Preview Edition

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving break. We’re back this week with screens from the only notable DS release in 2012 (unless there’s any surprise announcements in the new year, of course), Devil Survivor 2. There’s also a couple of “man, Japan gets all the best stuff” stories, which I realize are kind of cliche, but they are also completely true.
Zoo Keeper 3D Coming to Japanese Retail Soon
This seems better suited to the eShop if you ask me, but nonetheless Zoo Keeper 3D will make it’s way to Japanese store shelves on January 26, featuring 8 modes and two-player (local or online). There’s a couple more screens and some boxart after the break, but basically it looks like Zoo Keeper with polygonal characters. Which is to say, quite nice – but again, does this really need to be a full-price boxed retail release?

2DS View #24: Summer’s Over

It looks like the Fall season has finally arrived, and that means we’ve got some new vidja games to play. This week we’ve got lots of Zelda: Four Swords info, plenty of videos, and some new releases that you should actually care about(!). All that, and I made some design tweaks to the DSiWare and New Releases sections, too. Enjoy.
European Dates for Super Mario, Mario Kart, Pokémon Rumble, Red 3DS [UPDATE: Boxarts]
Nintendo of Europe, like their Japanese and American counterparts, revealed a bunch of information this morning, including all of these release dates:
- Red 3DS Console: September 30th
- Super Mario 3D Land: November 18th
- Mario Kart 7: December 2nd
- Super Pokémon Rumble: December 2nd
Europe is getting the special Zelda 25th Anniversary-branded Nintendo eShop cards too, in three different designs. They should appear in November.
UPDATE: Nintendo of Europe also just released boxart for Mario Kart and Mario 3D Land, which you can see after the jump.
